Furniture inspired by tower blocks by Lassak Studio
Has this ever been done before? If it has, we can’t imagine it looking anywhere near as good as this tower block-inspired furniture range by Lassak Studio, which goes by the name of Panelak.
The Slovakian design studio has created a very practical talking point with this range, Yes, it looks like a tower block and it is almost certainly a talking point when visitors pop by. But at the end of the day it’s also a very useful space to store your clothing. Or indeed, anything at all.
Even better, you can see just what is inside too by peeping through the miniature windows on the dresser and the vanity unit. There’s a wall lamp too, which, as you can see, shines out the light as if some miniature occupants are spending the evening inside.
The downside of all of this is actually getting one or more pieces into your home. we suspect these are prototypes and as such, not yet ready for mass production. But if you really want to invest, you could always contact the designers to register an interest.
