On the market: Four-bedroom riverside Huf Haus in East Molesey, Surrey

You possibly know all about the Huf Haus concept. If you don’t, let us briefly explain. The Huf Haus is a German concept, with modernist, open plan living spaces designed with the buyer, then assembled to a high standard by the Huf Haus building team on your land. The end result at first looks similar to the last Huf Haus you saw, but with each one made to an owner’s specification, each differs subtly from the last one.
That’s the case here, although this one has another stand out feature too – its location. Yes, you’ll find this one on the River Thames in Hampton Court. An amazing location and wonderful views to take in each and every morning. With all that glazing, you can’t miss it. Well, you can if you have the security shutters / blinds down for privacy!
Amongst the glass and beams that are the trademark of the Huf Haus you’ll find a good amount of flexible space over three floors. Currently, the house is laid out with four double bedrooms (all with en-suites and access to first floor balconies), a large open plan family / dining room, a modern open kitchen ad a study (or 5th bedroom with shower room).
The whole of the basement level is separated from the main property and covers around 1.000 sq. ft. It is currently used as a ‘huge’ garage and a gym but can obviously be converted if you have other needs.
If you like messing about on the river, then you’ll appreciate the path on the riverside of the property, which giving access to the rented 70 ft. moorings.
The house has just gone up for sale, with a price tag of £1,850,000.
