On the market: 1960s three-bedroomed house in Torquay, Devon
Not the most architecturally-interesting place we’ve featured, but I do love the design and the location of this 1960s three-bedroomed house in Torquay, Devon.
I’m guessing it’s a 1960s build, the agent doesn’t really confirm anything about its past. Just that this is ‘a spacious marine residence of individual design’. That much is certainly true.
The house is designed to take advantage of those views, as some of the shots show. It’s also located in the ‘peaceful’ area of Lincombes, within walking distance of Meadfoot beach, so if a slower pace of life is you, this should be just the thing.
In terms of accommodation, well, as the agent hinted, it is plentiful, with four generous-sized bedrooms, a spacious kitchen/diner, a living room and a balcony off the top floor for those the sea views. You also get a garage, along with off street parking for a further two vehicles. It does need soke updating, that’s for sure, but with gas central heating and double glazing, the basics are covered. The decor is down to you.
More details on the agent’s site, with an asking price of £325,000.
