Price drop: Solaris contemporary art deco-inspired property in Frinton-On-Sea, Essex
We did feature this place coming up to a year ago. Now it looks to be back with a lower price tag. That’s the Solaris contemporary art deco-inspired property in Frinton-On-Sea, Essex.
Obviously a house like this still isn’t cheap, but if the price tag was an issue between you and Solaris, it might be slightly less of one now.
As you might recall, this is a 2014 build and effectively a moderrn-era recreation of an art deco house in Frinton. That means absolutely no period features, but on the flipside, plenty of modern-day luxury and a look that’s very much in keeping with thw other deco properties on this seafront..
So a high specification modern house with a strong look and the added bonus of bifold doors opening out onto the terrace on the ground floor and two balconies on the first floor to being more of the outside in.
The premium features don’t look to have changed much, so still the bespoke Porcelanosa kitchen with Gaggenau fittings, a Porcelanosa bathroom for the master bedroom, audio in numerous rooms from B&W speakers, multi-zone video, Creston control and remote access and your very own 5.1 cinema room if you love your films.
The accommodation is set out over two floors, with the ground floor featuring a hall and its spiral staircase to the first floor, a cloakroom and plant room plus a sitting room with those bifolding doors to access a granite terrace. A study, a fourth bedroom and an en suite shower room, the kitchen / breakfast / dining room and a utility are also on the ground.
The spiral staircase leads you to the cinema room, the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and balcony, two further bedrooms and the family bathroom. An additional spiral staircase takes you to the circular belvedere room with 180 degree views of the sea and the seafront.
Back outside and you will find a bespoke electric sliding gate, a good amount of parking, a double garage, a gym area, a seating area, lawn, terrace areas and a pond.
So little, if anything changed, except the price. The reduced asking price is now £1,450,000.
