On the market: 1930s semi-detached art deco property in Twickenham, Greater London
An impressively renovated and well-maintained 1930s semi-detached art deco property in Twickenham, Greater London is now up for sale.
Located on what’s described as a ‘popular cul-de-sac’, the house has been renovated considerably, which might put some people off. But the finishes are clean and simple, the overall design has been maintained (we love the windows) and with a roof terrace up top, there’s obviously a ‘wow’ factor too.
In terms of space, you enter into an entrance hallway which leads through to a large reception room, along with a family / dining room and an eat-in kitchen. That kitchen also has doors to the lawned garden.
Head up to the first floor and you’ll find two double bedrooms, a family bathroom and what’s described as a ‘spacious ‘master bedroom with an en-suite and an additional study area. Other space includes a utility room, a separate WC on the ground floor and access up to the roof terrace we mentioned.
Nothing more to say really. Well presented and one that’s likely to appeal to lovers of art deco, especially those who love a modern-day comfort or two.
The asking price is £849,950.

This is half of one of four pairs of semi-detached houses positioned at corners of an estate of more conventional and prosaic but not unpleasant contemporaneous houses. Others are more and less ;’authentic’ and some are in worse repair.
