One of the coolest ranges out there, the Ruben midcentury modern furniture by Tikamoon is one of my favourites right now.

Unlike some ranges (I’m particularly thinking of there Quilda MCM collection at La Redoute), this isn’t a ‘whole house’ selection. This one is strictly for your living room. But on the plus side, it does offer various sizes and price points for that room.

I actually spotted the coffee table first, which I featured in the top 30 midcentury modern coffee tables round-up on my Retro To Go site. Little did I know that the bold look on that table was carried over across a number of other pieces.

A bold look that has an air of authenticity about it, something you might expect to find in a hip, midcentury modern pad in the early 1960s. Yes, I am going to mention Mad Men. It’s enough to separate it from many of the other designs on the high street right now.

The key details are the teak structure, skinny tapered legs, thew use of colour and in many cases, the built-in drawers,. The latter adding in some visual appeal and of course, some practicality.

In terms of the range, you can opt for two different sideboards, a TV stand able to hold up to a 60-inch TV, a coffee table and two nests of tables. There is also a design described as a bedside table, but that would probably work as well as a side table too.

In terms of prices, the smaller sideboard is down from £619.99 to £539.99 in the sale, while the longer sideboard sells for £1,029.99. Further down the page, the TV stand is available for £839.99, the coffee table at £599.99, the bedside table (or side table) £189.99 and the nests of tables are from £279.99 right now.
