There is a bit difference in the look of the finished product here, but the inspiration is much the same between the two. Yes, midcentury modern architecture.
The Sourgrassbuilt are more literal, essentially miniature versions of midcentury houses. The KoolBird designs are more in the spirit of midcentury modern. These are birdhouses of course, but with the stylistic touches of the midcentury modern era and its architecture.
There are other selling points of these particular birdhouses too. First up, these are handmade and as such individual to you as it has been made just for you. Secondly, they are eco-friendly designs, made from tropical hardwoods sourced from offcuts via tropical hardwood floor manufacturers. Nothing gone to waste here. Not that you would know that from the stunning finishes. These are premium pieces at the end of the day.
There are 10 designs to choose from, some being variations from a similar theme. At the top of the page is the Galaxy 500 complete with its own perch on the front. Also featured on the page is the Wave, the Mid Century Modern (of course) and the rather wonderful Wing, inspired by the birds themselves and perhaps the pick of the bunch.
