Apartment in the Aberdeen Wharf warehouse conversion, London E1W

We haven’t featured an industrial conversion for a while, so this apartment in the Aberdeen Wharf warehouse, London E1W has come along at the perfect time.

Aberdeen Wharf is an impressive looking converted warehouse, located opposite the Rose Gardens, in the heart of Wapping and a building that still packs a punch when it comes to original features.

The facade of this place is wonderful. It really could still be a working warehouse unit. Plenty of kerb appeal here. A good amount inside too.

First up is the view of the Thames. Yes, this is a riverfront apartment as well as being a two-bedroom duplex, taking up space on the ground and first floors. Beyond the view, you’ll also notice the likes of exposed brickwork and wooden ceilings joists. Love those windows too. It’s the basis of a very stylish living space.

Sadly, the period doesn’t quite work its way into every corner of this place and you do with that the stripped down nature of the apartment had been carried through. But that’s my personal taste.

As for space, you are looking at a master bedroom and en-suite bath/shower room located on the lower level, with the upper level given over to the reception / kitchen general living space, along with the second bedroom and a further bathroom.

Not cheap at £999,950, but still an eye-catching place to live.
