We haven’t featured a Span House for a while, so this 1960s Eric Lyons-designed property in New Ash Green, Kent is a welcome addition to the market.
It sits on the Punch Green Estate, which is in the village of New Ash Green in Kent, dating from around 1968.
The property is a ‘K’ type house, with around 1,300 sq. ft. of space and a feel of originality about it.
At first glance, you suspect this hasn’t been updated much since the 1960s, but a closer look indicates someone has gone for a vintage look and feel within whilst keeping original features within. That includes the wood block flooring and doors, with the windows and of course the distinctive exterior still as they were back in the day.

Plenty of light throughout thanks to the large windows, which also look out onto the garden at the rear. If you want more green, there are communal spaces on the estate. That’s one of the key selling points of a ’Span’.
