Airbnb find: 1960s modernist property in Kingsand, Cornwall
Not exactly sure of the decade, but the features indicate this is a 1960s modernist property in Kingsand, Cornwall on Airbnb.
It is described as a ‘light, modernist house by the sea’, with The Old Chapel (that’s the name of the place) located just 100 metres from the coastline.
Style-wise it is said to take inspiration form Erno Goldfinger and a look and feel of 1960s British modernism. Love the main open reception space, which takes up the whole of the top floor. Also love the detailing, such as the wood ceilings, exposed brick and large windows, which apparently flood the place with light. Some great views from the living room too.
The house can accommodate up to six, with two bedrooms and a total of five beds – one double and two bunk beds. From that, you can probably gather that this is a child-friendly space, with dressing up clothes, uniforms, wet suits and beach essentials all available for little ones.
And for adults and kids, the presence of Wi-Fi is an obvious plus, as it the likes of a washing machine and a modern kitchen.
More details on the listing and if you fancy a stay, it is £100 per night and a minimum three-night stay.
