As you might have guessed, this is a guide to 20th century architecture in the wonderful city of Berlin. The guide has been created by Matthew Tempest, with photographs by Simon Phipps, the end result being a tour of 50 buildings covering everything from expressionism and the Bauhaus movement through to brutalism and post modernism.
If you are planning a trip over and want to take in some of the sights, this two-sided map is pretty much a must-have. Yes, there are some obvious places here, such as the Olympic Stadium and the Le Corbusier apartment block. But some of the less obvious constructions on here will form the basis of our next trip over.
