Paris Brut – miniature models of Parisian brutalism by Zupagrafika
Following on from the Brutalist London set not too long ago comes the equally wonderful Paris Brut by Zupagrafika.
Same idea really. Essentially this is a collection of illustrated paper models showcasing brutalist architecture in Paris between the late 1950s and the 1970s.
Start off at the Cité des 4000, head past the round towers of Les Choux de Créteil and through the Cité Curial (the largest estate of Paris), take in the Orgues de Flandre high-rise towers and finish at the iconic Centre National de la Danse. And as a bonus, you also get s recreation of Le Corbusier`s 1925 Plan Voisin.
Six illustrated models to make, each with a short technical note on the architect, year of construction and exact location of each building. If you want the set, they each sell for 6 Euros online. Note that the London and indeed the previous Polish sets are still available.
