We are not sure whether this is well maintained or impressively renovated. Our gut feeling is the latter for the 1950s William L. Duquette-designed midcentury property in Altadena, California, USA.
You’ll find the house above the Altadena hills at the end of a private road – a road that could easily be a time tunnel to the middle of the 20th century. 1958 in fact.
As you can see, this is midcentury heaven, with walls of glass, nigh ceilings and beams, not to mention plenty of open living space and fixtures to match the house and the original period. We really love that fireplace. Some great views of the city and surrounding terrain too, best seen via the deck that leads off the living room.
As for space, that’s around 1,643 sq. ft. (on a plot of 0.89 acres), with the room including three bedrooms, two bathrooms, that open living area and an equally spacious dining room. If the inside doesn’t ‘wow’ you, check out the large pool, above ground spa and patio outside the house.
A stunning property, currently being marketed for $850,000, which works out at around £531,000.
