On the market: Three-bedroom modernist mews house in Lancaster Gate, London W2
I’m always amazed at what is done with minimal amounts of space in the capital. Which brings us to this three-bedroom modernist mews house in Lancaster Gate, London W2.
I’m guessing it wasn’t much originally, but both the frontage and interior have been transformed by an unnamed architect into a rather cool contemporary hangout. We like it.
The frontage is rather austere, but hints at what is beyond with this large upper windows. The first impression is dark, but it is very much about light inside.
Light and bright, as well as open plan downstairs, with a state of the art kitchen one one side, leading into the main living space at the other. There are also three ‘generous’ double bedrooms (two of which seem to take advantage of those large windows) and a private patio outside, which looks like it will be a great place to host a party.
Everything looks pristine and everything looks to have had no expense spared. Which (along with the postcode) perhaps accounts for the
£2,195,000 price tag. More images on the listing.
