Now this is substantial, which inevitably means this seven-bedroom contemporary modernist Huf Haus in Little London, near Andover, Hampshire comes with a substantial price tag.
Going by the name of Ridhwan, this particular Huf Haus was built in 2005 and said to be the largest example of a Huf Haus in the UK. If you know of a larger one, do let us know. But we’re guessing the assumption is correct. But that’s only half the story. Not content with offering a large amount of living space, this house also comes with a considerable amount of land too. Would you believe 17.46 acres? That a lot of lawn mowing, that’s for sure.
Anyway, we’ll look out outside space later. For now, let’s focus on the interior, which despite its size, is a fairly typical example of a Huf build. The ground floor is largely open plan living area, which means the space is pretty versatile, although it currently has defined areas for relaxing, working and entertaining, with much of it benefiting from the floor to ceiling windows. If the sun shines too much, there are electric blinds to keep it out. When it’s cold this floor (and the first) also have underfloor heating.
Head to that first floor and you’ll find more glazing, as well as a master bedroom suite with free standing antique bath and dressing area. In addition, there are six further bedrooms (two being en-suite) and three further bathrooms. Also located about the house is a games room, a wine cellar, three large storage rooms, a boiler room, an art room and a boot room. Balconies too if you want to take in the views.
We mentioned the abundance of outside space, but that also includes a swimming pool, tennis court (which needs some work for proper use) and hay barn as well as paddocks, garden and an orchard. Plenty to keep you busy if the weather is fine.
You wouldn’t expect it to be cheap and it certainly isn’t. £2,750,000 is the guide price.
