On the market: 1970s four-bedroom modernist property in Stoke Gabriel, Devon

Big thanks to the ever-helpful Mags L Halliday, who second guesses that this is a 1970s modernist property in Stoke Gabriel, Devon. I think we tend to agree.

We can’t say for sure if it is a period property or not – and it doesn’t matter either. It’s a stylish place in a picturesque location, with the house designed to take advantage of those views. Natural light shouldn’t be a problem here.

Whether the house is old or new, it’s certainly a high specification place, with a bright and clean contemporary feel inside. Good amount of space too. Head in through the front door to the entrance hall, which has access to the the garage and utility area, as well as the guest cloakroom and large open plan living area. There’s also a modern kitchen with integrated appliances, a dining area and living room with feature log burning effect fireplace and stairs rising to the first floor sitting room.

On the first floor, there are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious sitting room with French doors opening to a balcony with decked flooring, steel, wood and wire balustrade and lighting. Outside, there is parking space, that garage and a front decked terrace and what looks like a decent amount of garden space.

It is on the market for around £695,000.
