On the market: Sunnybank 1980s-built house on stilts in Coltishall, near Norwich, Norfolk
The lack of images of the inside suggests location is rather more important than the construction that sits on it, but we still like the Sunnybank 1980s-built house on stilts in Coltishall, near Norwich, Norfolk.
Sunnybank, which dates from the 1980s and is described by the agent as ‘a unique, unusual home’ and ‘architecturally designed’. Of course, the one thing that sticks out is the fact that the house sits on those stilts, taking advantage of the fantastic views to the River Bure.
That’s a selling point, but it sounds like work needs doing to the place, which might be another reason why internal shots are lacking. We don’t know how much, but it could be something special if you put in the work.
As for space, there is a shingled driveway which gives access to concrete basement parking under the house. Concrete steps from the basement lead up to the entrance door at first floor level which leads into the entrance hall, with access to the cloakroom, kitchen/breakfast room and the reception room. Sliding doors lead out to the raised decking terrace. The three bedrooms and the family bathroom are on a second floor level.
If you want to take it on, the asking price is £450,000.
