On the market: 1960s four-bedroom single-storey property in Ardleigh, near Colchester, Essex
We’re not sure about the past of this place, as the agent gives nothing away. But we think this 1960s single-storey property in Ardleigh, near Colchester, Essex is worth flagging up.
We’re guessing the 1960s, but with those wood panels on the wals, not to mention the overall look and feel of the place, I think we’re guessing right. It’s also stood in ‘unique parkland style setting’, which probably adds to the appeal. It has been updated, but there is a bit of the original period still there. But it doesn’t exactly scream character – although we think you could do that easily enough yourself.
Head in through the entrance door into a lobby, which leads to an entrance hall, then the dining room with a glazed door leading out from there to one of the key features, an internal courtyard. There also also doors to the kitchen, garden room and bedroom three. You’ll also find a utility room nearby, along with bedroom one with fitted wardrobes, bedroom two and bedroom three, which connects to the internal courtyard. There are also two bathrooms in the property.
As we mentioned outside, there are those parkland style gardens with lawn and mature trees, along with a detached brick garage, an adjoining storage shed and further garden space at the front of the house.
£250,000 is the price.
