On the market: Two-bedroom 1930s art deco apartment in Harrogate, North Yorkshire
The finish might not be to everyone’s taste, but we think this two-bedroom 1930s art deco apartment in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, spotted by Craig, still has the potential to be a pretty cool place to live.
Not much heritage detail given, but this is an original art deco block. Harrogate has a number of such places (some of which we have featured before), as well as a cinema in that style. Quite a hip place in the 1930s.
The apartment within this block is described as a ‘spacious’ two double bedroomed ground floor living space, complete with a private parking area and garage. You’ll find it on the ‘popular’ south side of Harrogate close to Hornbeam railway stop and a parade of shops that cater for ‘most daily needs’.
As for space, there’s a private ground floor approach, taking you to the reception hall with walk in storage cupboards, a lounge with private front patio, a dining room , kitchen, two double bedrooms and ‘luxury white house shower room’.
Outside there are well kept communal areas, plus, as we mentioned, a private parking area and a single garage with electric light and power. If you fancy it, the house is priced at £249,999. More images below.
