On the market: 1980s four-bedroom modernist property in Liverpool, Merseyside
Thanks to Matt Somerville for sending us details of this 1980s four-bedroom modernist property in Liverpool, Merseyside, who describes it as a ‘bit of a project’. That’s probably true, but it doesn’t look like too much work would be needed to get it up to scratch.
We are second guessing the 1980s, there’s a good chance it could be a 1970s build, but as the listing offers little in detail, we’re just going with our gut feeling.
The agent does, however, detail just what the house offers, which is a lot of space and ‘an array of architectural features’. Modernisation is the name of the game here, although the agent does point out that it could be ‘re-developed’ too, which perhaps indicates an area where land is valued highly.
As for the house itself, it’s a single-story property built around a central courtyard garden, with interconnecting and open plan living within ‘a desirable private park’. Walk in via an entrance porch and into the reception hall area, which in turn takes you to a spacious open plan living and dining area, a kitchen, rear hall and utility area.
There is an inner hallway which offers access to the four bedrooms and the bathroom and WC. The master bedroom is interconnecting to the lounge allowing ‘free flowing access’ around the whole property. Externally there are established gardens that surround the property, as well as a garage with an electronic remote controlled door and a concrete driveway.
If you want, the property is on the market for £495,000.
