Up for auction: Three-bedroom 1930s art deco house in Nuneaton, Warwickshire
This is an incredibly frustrating property, because we suspect this three-bedroom 1930s art deco house in Nuneaton, Warwickshire is something special for the money. But details are sadly sparse.
The biggest problem is that we have just one picture of the house, the one above of the exterior. That’s enough to tick our boxes, especially when you read the details listed for the place.
First up, this is for auction, so a potential bargain. Secondly, a phrase that’s music to our ears, ‘in need of modernisation’. From the look of the outside, that could mean some original art deco features beyond that front door.
But more than that, this could be a really decent home, with plenty of space on this semi-detached house. According to the agent, you get a ‘good plot’, as well as recently-installed central heating and a porch, entrance hall, two reception rooms, kitchen, three bedrooms, bathroom, front and rear gardens and direct car access to a detached garage.
All of that for a guide price of between £150,000 and £160,000. The auction takes place on 30th May 2012 (6pm) at the Jaguar Suite, Ricoh Arena, Coventry. Viewings are taking place before that if you want to see the inside.
