Not the cheapest place on the market, but I love the period charm of this three bedroom art deco-style house in Muswell Hill, London N10.
Actually, when we say art deco in style, we mean original art deco rather than some new build with the look, although the agent says the house has been extended on the ground floor to ‘complement the already well proportioned living accommodation. That could account for the room in the picture looking like its in the middle of a renovation.
Period features do survive though, most obviously the windows, but a glimpse inside shows doors and the stairway too, integrated into what looks like a modernised property internally.
In terms of accommodation, you get three ‘good’ bedrooms, inter-communicating reception rooms, a utility room, kitchen and bathroom, plus what looks like a decent-sized garden to the rear of the property.
The area is said to be good too, if you like the shops, restaurants and bars of the area. Sold chain-free, they’re taking offers around the £750,000 mark.
