Lost in time: 1930s semi-detached house in North Harrow, Middlesex
On the face of it, a fairly unassuming 1930s semi-detached house in North Harrow, Middlesex. But this house is pretty much unchanged since it was built in the 1930s.
Of course, there’s the odd addition, like a gas fire for example. But the kitchen is pure vintage, most of the doors and windows look original (although there is some double glazing), a bookcase looks full of vintage paperbacks, the bed and bedroom furniture don’t seem to have been updated and the curtains…well…they’re certainly far from new.
The agent will no doubt say this three-bedroom property is very much in need of renovation, but we love the character of the period. Maybe meet halfway and give it some modernisation whilst keeping enough of the 1930s character.
If you fancy doing that, offers of around £369,950 are invited.
