But as we said, it’s an interesting place architecturally. This is one of a group of houses dating back to the mid-1930s, the work of a forward thinking developer back in the day and still a striking art deco property today.
It isn’t without original features, but the decor / finish might be overpowering them a little right now. But if you look closely, you might well spot the original mahogany flooring in the living room, hallway and dining room, an original hand built timber kitchen, Crittall windows to the main feature areas and the original sunken bath tub, as well as panelled ceilings throughout and refurbished column radiators.
All of that might be more obvious if the interior was a little more toned down, but as we have said in the past, there’s no reason why you can’t redecorate if it’s not to your taste.
