We featured this one back in 2015, but a couple of years on, this 1930s Oliver Hill-designed art deco property in Frinton-on-Sea, Essex has been re-listed once more.

I’m not sure things have changed much since 2015 either. In fact, the images look to be the same as the ones used back in 2015 too. So we can only presume this wonderful grade II-listed property was pulled and is now being offered once more.

The house, which is described as ‘one of the best’ of the 35 houses built on the Frinton Park Estate, is located on a private road and a short walk from the beach. The latter is obviously appealing but it’s a distant second from the architecture on offer here.

Dating back to 1934/1935, the house has been ‘thoroughly refurbished’ by its architectural designer owner, bringing the best out of the original building whilst adding in something new in the form of a bold glass and steel extension.

Original features remain including refurbished large, curved windows, some kitchen fittings and the Vitralite tiles in the bathroom. But this is very much a living space for the 21st century.

As for space, the front door leads onto a hallway with WC. To one side is a study / bedroom, with the living room to the other. Beyond that living room is the dining room, kitchen and a utility.
