We love the exterior of this place. Unfortunately, the interior of this 1960s four-bedroom modernist property in Wimbledon, London SW20 doesn’t really live up to our expectations.

But as we have said before, the look of the inside isn’t the big thing. It’s having a ‘canvas’ to work with – and this place certainly offers that. Located on a ‘quiet and sought after residential cul-de-sac’ and in walking distance of Wimbledon Common, this is a distinctive 1960s build with feature windows and plenty of space. That’s the good bit. On the downside for us right now is the interior, which has been updated and is well maintained, but just lacks that ‘wow’ right now. Not sure about what looks like an extension at the back either, although the added space should be useful.

Talking of add-ons, this place also has a decent-sized garden, a heated swimming pool and a summer house too, the latter with power, light and running water. Oh yes, there’s also a sauna in this place too, complete with its own shower and WC. As for space inside the house, that’s down as a reception room, dining room, study, kitchen, cloakroom, four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one is en-suite) and a garden room.

Location and space combine when it comes to the asking price, which is £1,200,000.
