With views to die for (judging by the additional photos on the agent’s listing), Turngree was built in the early 1970s and is on the market for the first time since being built. It’s a two-storey property and one that’s surprisingly eco-friendly, with the likes of solar panels and a wood-burning stove present in the property.

Turngree is also a quirky property, as you might have noticed, perhaps most obviously when it comes to that central spiral staircase. Something you’ll love or hate. There are also plenty of features that have obviously been here since the original construction. The bathroom being of them. Many of the original fittings are also included in the sale, but see the full listings for any exclusions.

The house covers around 2,100 sq. ft of space, with plenty of light via the tinted glass walls and floor-to-ceiling windows in the entrance hall, lounge and master bedroom, which also offer uninterrupted views over the garden towards the countryside beyond. All in all, a great blank canvas, but one that certainly needs some updating.

In terms of specifics, the ground floor offers up an entrance hall, an open plan lounge with the wood burning stove, a dining room, a fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, a master bedroom with dressing room/study, along with an en-suite shower room.

The lower ground floor has a garden room, three double bedrooms, a utility room and a family bathroom. There’s also a cellar, integrated garage and a tarmac driveway. Gardens include lawns, an orchard, vegetable plot, fruit bushes and timber log stores.

All of that for offers in the region of £325,000.
