Not our favourite house in Llandudno, there’s an art deco gem on the front which we’ve got our eye on. Sadly, that’s not for sale – but this three-bedroomed ‘castle’ known as Tollgate House in Llandudno, Conwy certainly is.
You’ll find it on Marine Drive on the West Shore, a late 1880s construction that’s both grade II-listed and offering ‘undisturbed panoramic sea views’ towards Anglesey and Puffin Island, Penmaenmawr mountain range and towards the twin humps of Deganwy Castle, not to mention the blue flag beach of the West Shore area.
Does that distinctive look match up to the inside? To be honest, we haven’t a clue. For reasons known only to the agent, there are no internal shots on the web, so you’ll have to take their word on there being a dining room, lounge, kitchen/breakfast room, ground floor bedroom with en suite, first floor second bedroom and bathroom, second floor third bedroom. To the exterior of the property there is off road private parking and a small garden. The gas central heating and double glazing might be useful when the cold air hits over autumn and winter too.
if you fancy booking a viewing, get in touch with the agent. £395,000 is the asking price.
